2010 is here and so are some of my favorites sets. Sage and Press Pass are 2 of the first sets released and two of my favorite sets to collect. Here are a few samples.

The Top 1o List

Like any good college sports related blog, we need a Top 10 list. Beckett released their Top 10 Most Collectible Colleges a few years back. With names like Nebraska, Oklahoma, Miami and Alabama, you could see a direct correlation between the Top 10 Most successful programs in the last 50 years. However, winning isn't everything there are a lot of fans whoo collect their college no matter what their record is. I will be adding my poll based on sales and demand for certain colleges.

Lets give it the Old College try

As a young child I remember collecting football, basketball and baseball cards. At some point I became addicted to collecting cards with players featured in their college uniforms/jerseys. Even before the days of Sage and Press Pass I had cards attached to bedroom wall. I remember having Eric Green's Score Rookie card which featured him in his Liberty U. jersey. Next to the Eric Green card I had several UVa Cavaliers featured in their orange & blue of course. With this blog I want to explore some of the "Gone but not forgotten" companies that produced college cards in the past such as Classic but I also want to preview the current products being released.
